About the role
Ready to work for a different kind of accountancy? Incomefix is looking for a Full Time General Accountant to join our team of 9 and contribute to the current operation of the firm, assisting senior accountants. Reporting to the manager, this full-time permanent role involves:
* Collaborate with senior accountant across a range of approx. 20 client structures including Partnerships, Trusts, Companies and SMSFs
* Prepare Financial Statements and Activity Statements for a range of clients
* Spend time uncovering our clients' businesses – specifically their financial needs and goals
* Assist senior accountants with reviewing financial records, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies, working jointly to identify and resolve discrepancies regarding bank reconciliation.
Salary starting from $75,000 to $80,000 p.a. (depending on your experience)

Experience and qualifications
Proven working experience (minimum of 1 year experience) as an accountant/similar in a local public accounting practice, with sound accounting and taxation knowledge
* CPA/CA accredited (or working towards)
* Experience with more complex tax specialist areas such as Div7a and Capital Gains Tax
* Experience using MYOB, XERO and Handi Ledger accounting software
* Proven experience helping clients at all levels in setting up how they can achieve their financial needs/goals.
