Ecommerce specialist - skechers

Skechers Australia is seeking an eCommerce professional to help manage and optimise our website while supporting the execution of our digital strategy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys the balance of trading, analytics, and creative execution and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Overview

We are a global footwear brand focused on delivering seamless, customer-first digital experiences that reflect our innovation, comfort, and style. As our online channel grows, this role will drive online sales, manage product enrichment, and support digital marketing and CRO initiatives.

Responsibilities

* Website Management & Maintenance
* Drive online sales to meet financial targets and profit budgets; ensure the online customer experience reflects the brand's values
* Support Co-ordinator to ensure product enrichment is managed efficiently with strong attention to detail
* Online product merchandising and daily review of site to ensure product content is current and aligned with digital strategy
* Collaborate with product team to understand delivery dates and stock on hand across the retail network; manage online enrichment timelines
* Work with SEO teams to optimise products and content for search
* Support marketing campaigns, product launches, and retail activities with regular content updates
* Support Ecommerce Manager with pricing and promotions as required
* Campaign & Promotion Execution
* Plan and implement digital marketing initiatives to boost engagement and conversion
* Project manage online campaigns and promotions, including asset briefs, EDMs, and timelines
* Oversee email campaigns in line with marketing calendar in partnership with marketing and CRM teams
* Manage campaign content, homepage updates, and promotional banners
* Create landing pages to support marketing initiatives and ensure timely delivery
* Coordinate with in-store teams to align online and offline promotions
* Analyze and report on campaign performance and ROI
* CRO, CRM and UX/UI
* Deliver on-brand online customer experience with a customer-centric approach
* Conduct regular site audits to identify improvements
* Optimise product categorisation, search, and navigation based on user behaviour
* Support A/B testing and UX initiatives to drive conversions
* Use GA4 and other tools to identify friction points and prioritise optimisation opportunities
* Participate in UAT to ensure new features meet functionality and performance standards
* Improve onsite tools including reviews, sizing guides, and search/merchandising
* Experience with A/B testing frameworks, CRO methodologies, and CDP predictive modelling is valued
* Understand CRO best practices and run experiments that deliver incremental revenue
* Liaise with various departments to deliver best-in-class, seamless customer experience
* Sale Analysis, Reporting & Administration
* Complete administrative tasks on time and meet reporting deadlines
* Support weekly and monthly reporting across key eCommerce KPIs (traffic, conversion, sales, product performance) with actionable insights
* Report on EDM KPIs and provide insights on content performance
* Monitor top sellers to optimise onsite merchandising
* Produce ad-hoc reports and translate data into clear insights
* Build and maintain performance dashboards (GA4, Looker Studio, Excel) to track trading metrics and trends
* Collaborate with digital, marketing, and merchandising teams to ensure analytics, tagging, and reporting frameworks are accurate
* Web Development
* Provide technical and testing support with problem-solving abilities
* Troubleshoot site process issues and escalate as required
* Assist with the implementation of new website features and integrations
* Assist in site testing and liaise with internal dev teams or vendors to ensure uptime and data accuracy

Qualifications

* 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
* Preferably footwear retail or wholesale background
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Familiarity with eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Magento) and analytics tools (GA4, Tag Manager, Data Studio, Looker Studio, Klaviyo or equivalent)
* Can-do attitude, hands-on and responsive
* Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Analytical skills with Google Analytics (or similar)
* Highly organised with strong communication skills
* Marketing, business degree/diploma preferable
* Experience building campaign emails
