With a renewed focus on capability uplift across legal, governance and compliance, it is now seeking a Principal Legal Counsel to take a key leadership role within its in-house legal function. The Role Reporting to the General Manager, Legal & Governance, you will lead a capable in-house legal team of four. Your role will combine leadership, strategic input and hands-on legal advice across a broad mix of matters, including: General commercial contracts, IT, leasing, IP, employment and privacy Dispute resolution and litigation management Governance support and legal training for the wider organisation External legal provider management and spend control Input into corporate projects and strategic initiatives Oversight of procedures and precedents to improve efficiency This is a key role with organisational impact and visibility, leading the legal function and together with the GM of Legal, engaging with executive and Board stakeholders.
