About the role
Join the UTS Graduate School of Health as a Lecturer in Good Manufacturing Practice and contribute to delivering the only Master of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) program of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region. This role combines high-quality teaching, curriculum development, research, and academic leadership within a uniquely industry-connected program. A key focus is managing and strengthening the partnership with an external teaching provider, ensuring academic quality, compliance, and alignment with UTS standards. You'll bring industry experience, strong relationship management skills, and a passion for practice-based, student-centred learning to prepare graduates for success across the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device sectors.

About You
You are an engaging educator with demonstrated experience teaching and coordinating Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or related subjects, and a passion for delivering high-quality, practice-based learning. With strong relationship management skills, you work effectively with diverse students, colleagues, and industry partners, fostering an outstanding student experience. You bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement. A collaborative team player who can also work independently, you show emerging research capability through publications, funding applications, or industry-engaged initiatives. Other requirements include:
* A PhD (or near completion) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, GMP or related fields
* University teaching experience, including online and flexible delivery
* Experience in research, HDR supervision, and dissemination
* Curriculum design and academic quality assurance experience
* Industry experience in pharma, biotech, medical devices, or regulatory affairs (desirable)
* Knowledge of GMP, pharmaceutical quality systems, and regulatory frameworks
* Understanding of applying GMP principles in practice
What We Offer
Base Salary Range: $125,240 - $148,229 plus 17% superannuation (pension).
The position is full-time and will be made on a continuing basis.
