Job Description
The New Intercity Fleet (NIF) project is a major undertaking that involves the design, build and maintenance of 554 train carriages for Transport for NSW. The NIF will operate on various routes across Sydney, the Central Coast, Newcastle, the South Coast, the Blue Mountains and Lithgow.

UGL has been appointed to undertake the maintenance and whole-of-life asset management of the new carriages for 15 years once they are added to the NSW TrainLink Fleet. This role will support the live running, prepare for revenue at Eveleigh, supporting trains in storage in Wollongong, Port Kembla and Kiama as per contract.
About the Role
This position is part of a growing maintenance team that will be responsible for supporting the increased maintenance activity on our fleet. As a Mobile Maintainer, you will work closely with the team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the trains.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A full Australian work rights
* Australian recognised trade qualification with Certificate of Proficiency
* Forklift or overhead crane license is desirable but not necessary
* No fear of getting your hands dirty
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Reliable and punctual
* Commitment to a safe work environment and practices
* Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
