Job Description
As a Volunteer Social Support Driver, you will provide safe, reliable transport for DPV Health clients, ensuring they can access our services and other essential destinations. This is a vital role that helps make a real difference in the lives of community members.
Key Responsibilities
* Transport clients safely using DPV Health-provided vehicles, including cars and buses
* Conduct a Pre-Trip Vehicle Safety Check before each journey
* Maintain cleanliness of vehicles and report mechanical issues
* Assist staff in picking up and dropping off clients while adhering to safety protocolsCommunicate effectively and sensitively with clients and staff
Desired Skills and Experience
* A current Victorian Driver's Licence and ability to drive larger vehicles (e.g., 12‐seater Hiace Commuter)
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals
* Comfortable driving for up to 15–20 minutes without a break
* Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines for transporting clients
* A positive attitude and a commitment to ensuring client safety and comfort

Fine Print
Successful candidates will need to undergo a National Police Check.
A valid Working with Children Check and NDIS Check are required.
