Calibre Engineering Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated company located in Mount Isa. It is one of the fastest growing companies in the Northwest Region.
We are currently searching for Fitters, Boilermakers and Scaffolders to work on a FIFO basis on a 2:2 or 2:1 Roster. (Depending on the site requirements)
In this role you will be responsible for:
* Working cohesively within a Projects team across various mine sites in a processing plant environment.
* Supporting the operation of mining process while using reliable and accurate operational skills & knowledge.
* Always working in a safe manner and adhering to site policies and procedures in order to enhance the safety culture & performance of the site.
* Performing routine maintenance on a range of fixed plant equipment.
* Ensuring the achievements of targets and annual budgets are reached by working collaboratively with appropriate personnel.
Flights are based out of Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns with Meals and Accommodation provided.
Preference will be given to QLD residents due to availability in locations for medical providers and Training.
Some work is based in a lead stream so you must be comfortable wearing a respirator at times and being clean shaven.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* Current Driver Licence
* Relevant Trade Certificate
* Be able to pass a Mine Site Medical Including Drug & Alcohol testing
* Relevant HRWL tickets – EWP + 11m and Forklifts are ideal
* Willing to undergo and obtain relevant Mount Isa Mines mandatory training & Courses
* Must be willing to be clean shaven and happy to work in the lead stream
Duties for role's include but Limited to:
Fitters:
* Experience in Fixed plant Maintenance
* Working on Hydraulics, Circuit Pumps & Pneumatics
* Maintenance on Conveyors, Gear boxes, Pumps & be able to find faults.
* Forklift or EWP 11m+ ticket (or willing to obtain)
* Work in a 2:2 Roster
Boilermakers:
* Flux cored wire FCAW
* Full penetration butt welds that pass UT testing
* Fabrication of Structural Steel, Mechanical connections & beams
* Stick welding that passes mag particle testing
* Must have Forklift or EWP 11m+, or willing to obtain
* Work in a 2:1 Roster
Scaffolders:
* Current Driver Licence
* HRWL - Minium Intermediate Scaffolding - EWP + 11m and Forklifts are ideal
* Must be able to pass a Mine Site Medical Including Drug & Alcohol testing
* Willing to undergo and obtain relevant Mount Isa Mines mandatory training & Courses
* Work in a 2:1 Roster
