Construction Manager – Onshore Wind – Civil
Our client is a well-established and market leading national civil contractor seeking an experienced Construction Manager – Civil to join their growing business on projects based in Gippsland. The role can be based in Gippsland or on a DIDO 5:2 roster.
Overview
Deliver civil and associated electrical packages for onshore wind projects, with project values from $100m to $200m+. Responsibilities include planning, delivery, and successful completion of key civil elements such as access roads, footings, and bulk earthworks.
Responsibilities
Planning and scheduling of construction activities
Management of site project teams in construction delivery
Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
Resolving site issues in a timely manner
Coordinating internal and external resources
Recruitment and mentoring of teams
Qualifications and Requirements
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
1. 20+ years’ management experience on civil packages
Project management qualifications will be advantageous
Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
Effective problem-solving abilities
Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
High level of organisation and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
