As a Principal Cybersecurity Consultant for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) you will lead the design, implementation, assessment, and consultation for multiple complex cybersecurity engagements spanning several complex technologies for a wide range of Federal Government customers. You will be the engagement leader contributing to the Cybersecurity Professional Services (PS) consulting team which also includes managing, scoping and bidding for PS engagements to drive growth and success for all customer engagements.
Responsibilities:
* Provide cybersecurity advisory services to the Fed Gov agencies adding awareness and security visibility in managing the security of existing and new assets and platforms including cloud.
* Provide scoping of security control environment, auditing and assessing maturity of security programs against industry frameworks (e.g., ISM, PSPF, ISO27001, NIST CSF, Essential Eight).
* Provide recommendations in meeting the spirit and intent of security controls.
* Manage and control on-going security programs; facilitate problem solving discussions.
* Facilitate discussions with Working Committees (Admins, Developers, Engineers, etc.).
* Presenting status reports, recommendations and security roadmaps to Management levels (CIO, CISO, etc.).
* Participate in Business Development / Pre-sales activities such as monitoring Fed Gov marketplaces and responding to the RFPs / RFQs.
What we're looking for...
You enjoy developing resolutions to complex problems that require the use of creativity and makes decisions that impact projects and all stakeholders.
What you'll need to have :
* Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.
* Six or more years of relevant work experience.
* Six or more years of experience in supporting Federal Government Cyber Security projects and programs.
* Six or more years of experience in security knowledge or skills (Penetration testing, GRC practice, security device implementation, audit, assessment).
* At least two or more certifications on the Cyber Security Assurance domain: IRAP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO27001 LA/LI.
* NV1 Security clearance (or above).
* Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.
Even better if you have…
* Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science/Information technology.
* Demonstrable understanding of process and culture supporting government agencies
* Effective verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to scope control environment.
* Ability to present a security roadmap.
* Proven track record of managing and controlling on-going security program; facilitate problem solving discussions.
* Provide recommendations for security strategies, intent and controls.
* Demonstrated organizational skills such as project management experience.
* Experience leading a project team of three or more providing security related service and strategies.

* Develops, leads, and manages client's change and project management processes for technology to both internal and external stakeholders.
* Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and leads effort to design and deliver automated solutions to reduce or eliminate manual methods.
* Prospects new solutions to build the business with new delivery offerings.
* Leads multiple complex engagements.
