Kick-start your boilermaking career in Waroona Join Schlam's workshop team, manufacturing and repairing mining equipment for major clients.
Work alongside experienced tradespeople and apprentices in a supportive, team-focused environment with great opportunities for learning, development, and progression.
The Opportunity
Your duties will include :
* Adhere to all Schlam policies, procedures, and safety requirements
* Assist with heavy fabrication and assembly of mining equipment under supervision
* Operate tools, machinery, and workshop equipment safely
* Work collaboratively with the workshop team, apprentices, and supervisors
* Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free work area

* White Card for site access.
* Keen, committed, and willing to take instruction
* Team-focused and confident working alongside other apprentices and the wider workshop team
* Strong attention to detail
* Passion for engineering and fabrication
* Proactive, curious, and not afraid to ask questions or use initiative to solve problems
