Job Title: NDIS Recreation Support Worker
About the Role:
The position of a NDIS Recreation Support Worker presents an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals living with disabilities.
This role involves working as part of our NDIS Beyond Making it Happen Program and NDIS Choices Program, providing support to participants with high support needs.
* Providing daily personal assistance including personal hygiene, toileting, bladder and bowel management, eating, drinking and mobility support.
* Furnishing behavioral support to participants with complex needs and ensuring effective documentation to engage with participants' clinical support networks.
* Facilitating and supporting clients with personal care, empowering them to make their own choices and grow their independence.
* Administering data entry and accurately recording participant case notes.
Key Requirements:
* A current Full Australian Driver's Licence is required.
* Meeting the current COVID-19 Vaccine requirement or medical exemption is necessary.
* Relevant NDIS/DHS checks and clearances according to the role requirements are mandatory.
* A current First Aid Certificate is needed.
* A current Manual Handling Certificate is required.
* A current Child Safe Environments Certificate is also essential.
