About Our Programme
You will join our Sunrise Centre Drug and Alcohol programme in Berrimah as an AOD Case Manager. You will work directly with clients seeking support in their recovery journey, building safe, trusting relationships and collaborating on tailored case plans.
* Build safe, respectful relationships with clients supporting self-determination and empowerment.
* Explore client situations through intake and assessment, identifying challenges and strengths.
* Collaborate with clients to design realistic, holistic case plans.
* Respond sensitively to potential high-risk situations guided by safety and ethical practice.
Requirements for Success
* Degree qualification preferred (Social Work, Welfare, Community Development) with related field work experience or equivalent.
* Or a minimum Certificate IV in Community Services with related sector knowledge and experience.
* Experience engaging clients with Justice System or Corrective Services; willingness to support homelessness, AOD dependence, and mental health issues.
* Experience working with people for whom English is not a first language; knowledge of Local Aboriginal Communities and Culture.
* National Police Check required prior to commencement.
* NT Working with Children Ochre Card check required prior to commencement.
