The successful candidate will support tradespeople and technicians in daily fabrication tasks, assist with machinery operation, and ensure the workshop runs smoothly. You'll get involved in interpreting blueprints and drawings into metal work! This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in a dynamic fabrication environment. There may even be an opportunity to be put through a trade certificate.Your day-to-dayAssist tradespeople with task related fabrication and assemblyOperate work shop machineryPrepare material for projects ensure they are to the client specificationsMaintain workshop cleanliness and that health and safety is to the highest standard.About you You will be a proficient and experienced Welder in MIG, TIG & SMAW. Pipe experience is essential for this one, along with experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings, and using welding tools and specialist machinery.
