Job Title:
Our organization seeks a dedicated and experienced professional to lead the implementation of cultural heritage standards across our renewable energy portfolio.
This role is pivotal in driving our commitment to a sustainable future through electrification and investing in renewable energy sources.
The successful candidate will work closely with First Nations Communities and representatives to negotiate Native Title agreements, develop Cultural Heritage Management Plans, and conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and deliver the implementation of cultural heritage standards across the entire generation portfolio
* Negotiate Native Title agreements and develop cultural heritage management plans
* Build and maintain relationships with first nations communities and representatives
* Provide expert advice on cultural heritage matters and facilitate learning across operational teams
* Conduct audits to ensure regulatory compliance
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in archaeology, anthropology, or related field
* Proven experience working with first nations representatives and registered aboriginal parties
* Experience with cultural heritage legislation across Australia
* Ability to communicate and negotiate within complex environments
* Experience with energy generation and power development
