Our service incorporates School Based Youth Nurses, Child Health Nurses, Child Protection Liaison Officers and Early Intervention Clinicians working to deliver a service model that integrates and collaborates with other disciplines and community services, providing care to Gladstone children and their families. The Child health units delivers universally accessible services for all families with children aged from birth to 5 years. The service supports families and their children with emphasis on parenting, and health promotion, developmental assessment, referral pathways and social support.
About the role:
The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who is accountable at an advanced practice level for the coordination of meeting best practice standards for clinical practice, person-centred care within a multidisciplinary team Child Health and Paediatrics Unit, through the provision of effective and efficient human and material resources.
About you:
Current registration through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
A relevant postgraduate diploma or Master's degree is an expectation of this position. Where the successful applicant does not currently hold this qualification, commitment to completion within an agreed timeframe is expected and will form part of the performance and development plan.

An hourly rate between $ $72.58 p.h.
