We are seeking an energetic and team orientated experienced boilermaker / Fabricator / Welder based at our Woodville North plant. This is a full time permanent position and available for an immediate start.
You will be working on the fabrication of crane bases, jibs, turrets, spare parts and general maintenance. We will provide on-site training to continue to provide excellence, quality and consistency. You will report directly to the leading hand.
As the successful applicant you will be required to be part of a team in the Production Assembly Area. You will have a strong drive to succeed, self-motivated, work with others, and be able to promote a safety conscious environment.
Key requirements:
* Australian Trade Recognized Certificate - Boilermaker, Fabrication, Welder Qualification with a minimum of 3 years trade experience.
* Ability to weld to Australian standards.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Follow instructions with an attention to detail.
* Reliable, self motivated and can work in a workshop team with minimal supervision.
* Good OH&S awareness
* Good communication skills
* Forklift license would be an advantage
* Work a 38hr, 4 day working week, 6.45am to 4.45pm Monday to Thursday.
* Be available from time to time to work overtime on Friday.
