 
        
        Specialist Mental Health Personal Advisor (Social Worker)
Sanctuary Personnel has a new permanent position available for a Specialist Mental Health Personal Advisor (Social Worker) to work full time based in Richmond & Wandsworth. The salary for this permanent Specialist Mental Health Personal Advisor (Social Worker) job is up to £49,503 per annum.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking a range of Pathway Planning, assessments, tasks and interventions to strengthen and support the Mental Health and Wellbeing of Care Experienced young people within the Borough.
- Acting as a lead Practitioner within the team for Mental Health, disseminating good practice, and engaging in Team Meetings to present colleagues with information and advice.
- Developing and regularly reviewing a multi-agency Pathway Plan around and with the young person and proactively working with the young person to achieve their targets.
- Establishing and developing collaborative working with allied health and social care practitioners from adults' services as well as partners in Housing, DWP and Community organisations.
- Developing a good understanding of evidence-based practice and integrating models of best practice into the day-to-day service delivery.
- Participating positively in professional supervision and annual appraisal (PrP) review, taking personal responsibility for the quality of practice.
- Participating in clinical supervision and clinical risk assessing, and liaising with mental health services across different boroughs/areas.
- Building professional credibility within the multi-professional partnership by achieving practice standards and meeting performance targets consistently.
- Actively contributing to team working, supporting colleagues, covering for colleagues in their absence and taking part in team meetings and development events.
Requirements of this Specialist Mental Health Personal Advisor (Social Worker) role:
- A professional Social Work qualification or equivalent.
- Understanding of relevant legislation.
- Registered or eligible for registration.
- Have a good working knowledge of the relevant legislation.
