About the Role
This position involves providing advanced nursing care and leadership to a diverse population of inmates. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality healthcare services, including assessment, intervention strategies, and treatment plans.
As a Nurse Practitioner - Mental Health, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care that meets the evolving needs of patients. This includes diagnosing and treating acute infections, injuries, and illnesses, as well as consulting with patients on effectively managing their health.
Key Responsibilities
* Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
* Master of Nursing Practice
* Extensive experience in mental health nursing
* Endorsed by NMBA and able to prescribe within scope of practice
* Ability to confidently and proficiently carry out procedures, treatments, and interventions
