Job Responsibilities: Planning menu in consultation with management for the occasions and ongoing. Managing team of cooks and kitchen staff for smooth operations. Manage food preparation and cooking processes in a fast-paced environment. Ensure all food items are prepared according to safety and sanitation guidelines. Maintain inventory levels, order ingredients, and manage stock to minimize waste. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction. Training and mentoring junior kitchen staff. Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to bring new ideas to the table. Provide and maintain a safe and healthy workplace. Requirements: Proven experience as a chef role, preferably in a sandwich bar, café, or restaurant. Passion for food and creating unique, dishes and starters. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Creativity and a willingness to experiment with new ingredients and flavors. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Qualification: Diploma in hospitality or equivalent. Experience: Minimum 2 years experience. Salary-$75k to $80k (plus Superannuation) We will offer:
