About us:

The Paediatric Allied Health Service provides multidisciplinary allied health services for infants, children and young people across Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service (CQHHS). Services are delivered across a continuum of care including hospital, outpatient, community and outreach settings, supporting children with developmental, functional and health-related needs. The service works collaboratively with families, health professionals, education providers and community organisations to promote optimal child development, participation and wellbeing.

About the role:
* Lead and coordinate the design, development, implementation and evaluation of the new Child Development Services model across CQHHS.
* Provide expert level knowledge, skills, and experience to plan, organise and manage the Project utilising expert clinical knowledge, experience and leadership in integrating experience and expertise in consumer engagement and project activities in the development and delivery of education and training for health professionals to facilitate practice change.
* Provide high-level operational and strategic managerial knowledge, skill and experience, including leadership support and authoritative advice to Executive leadership regarding the implementation and progress of relevant processes, systems, strategies and plans to ensure the satisfactory overall progress of the Project.
* Provision of formal, authoritative, consultant-level advice based on high-level and wide-ranging interdisciplinary clinical expertise at a state/national level.
* Use expert level leadership and facilitation skills to lead consumer engagement and co-design activities in consultation with external Child Development organisations and in collaboration with the local Child Development Service and paediatric allied health teams.
About you:
* The successful applicant must hold at least a tertiary degree (or equivalent) qualification in a Health Practitioner Discipline and be registered with the Allied Health Professional Registrations Agency (AHPRA) or membership with the relevant allied health registration board/and or professional body.
* Ability to strategically lead and manage a project team and lead the implementation of relevant strategies and plans.
* Ability to lead change and address issues using creative, innovative and contemporary approaches in a complex environment.
* Expert level clinical knowledge, skills and experience in the field of SCI rehabilitation and life‐long management.
What we offer:
* Total monthly remuneration value of up to $15,899 p.m. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $81.47 - $84.33 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
