Hip Pocket Hunter provides work wear, corporate wear and safety equipment to B2B and retail customers. We are a locally owned company, backed by the buying power, quality and value of Hip Pocket's national network. We pride ourselves on providing the best customer service in the Hunter.
Due to rapid expansion we are looking for an enthusiastic Retail Assistant to join our team on a casual basis and help grow our business.
About the role
Reporting to the Retail Senior, you will:
* Provide excellence in customer service at all times, including addressing queries and feedback in a professional and timely manner
* Implement effective selling techniques to maximize store sales
* Undertake general duties including cleaning, stocking and administrative tasks
* Follow all store operating procedures in a methodical and structured manner whilst providing excellent attention to detail
* Be proactive and show initiative, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner whilst providing excellent attention to detail
* Actively contribute to the success and growth of Hip Pocket Hunter.
* Be available to work flexible hours including every Saturday.
* Be able to work at both our Rutherford and Thornton stores.

* Positive attitude, mature outlook and a strong work ethic.
* Ability to apply effective selling techniques.
* Great communication, time management and organisational skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Willingness to adopt a hands-on role regarding all aspects of retail operations.
* Strong administration skills.
