The Role | Full-time and Casual Positions available
We are seeking dynamic Cardiac Technicians whose approach aligns with our company values of Integrity, Compassion, Collaboration and Excellence. This role offers flexibility, the opportunity to work within a caring and committed team of health care professionals and the chance to work with patients. Extensive on the job training is provided.
In this role, the successful candidates will:
* Work closely with patients to perform diagnostic investigations such as ECG recording, Exercise Stress Testing and 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure, Holter and Event monitoring.
* Analyse and prepare provisional reports for Holter monitoring investigations.
* Prepare written documentation for diagnostic examinations such as 24-hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure and Exercise Stress Testing.
* Perform in-house interrogation and device checks on different cardiac devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators and loop recorders.
* Work within the team to undertake remote monitoring of patients with cardiac devices and,
* Participate in in-house education and professional development.
The Person
The ideal candidates will be highly organised and efficient individuals with an eye for detail and the ability to take on any task and successfully follow it through. The candidates will have a caring and friendly attitude towards both staff and patients.
Candidates must have:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a willingness to learn.
* A professional and caring manner.
* A current driver's licence and access to a reliable car and,
* Experience in ECG recording (desirable).
A Working with Children Clearance will be required prior to commencement.
