We are looking for an experienced manager with a proven record of delivering a quality service at pace. To join our award-winning hospitality team at Mason Mill.
Mason Mill is set within 10 acres of award-winning gardens in the beautiful hills of Perth. Our services include events, weddings, and a mini golf course. Our newly opened, rapidly growing casual dining experience provides high quality food and service, and we are searching for a confident, ambitious, team player, with experience in the hospitality world, to manage and lead our ever‐growing team in partnership with the venue's general manager.
As our duty Manager, you will play a crucial role in the growth of this newly opened venture. Managing the daily running of our restaurant/events, ensuring your team are working efficiently, effectively providing a quality service. You will need to have the ability to perform managerial duties at pace in a fast‐paced environment, while maintaining high professionalism and standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Daily team management and leadership
* Staff scheduling – organise and plan upcoming shifts for staff, finding cover as needed
* Training of staff – train new and current staff, ensuring compliance with company procedures and health and safety requirements
* Providing a high standard customer service
* Overseeing daily operations in collaboration with the head chef
* Developing procedures alongside our venue manager to obtain maximum efficiency
* Maintaining expertise in products, services, and promotions for customer assistance and upselling
Qualifications
* 2 years in a similar management role
* Approved Managers and RSA
* Excellent leadership skills
* Problem‐solving ability – able to think on your feet
* Proven ability to work at pace
* Proven record of delivering a quality service
* Availability to work weekends and evenings
* Conflict resolution – confidence in dealing with customer issues
* Full work rights within Australia
* Food Safety Supervisor certificate can be obtained within 3 months of starting
* Wedding/event experience of a high quality
* Barista knowledge/experience
* Driving licence – remote location with no regular buses
