Overview
Music is an integral part of our schools and we firmly believe that co‐curricular music plays a vital role in the education and development of our pupils. Our Music Departments cultivate a lively, active and happy atmosphere and cater for a wide variety of genres and musical interests. Candidates should be familiar with relevant teaching materials and techniques, and themselves be confident and able performers.
Responsibilities
* Deliver one‐to‐one Clarinet lessons to pupils across the three schools in the foundation.
* Provide ensemble leadership for two ensembles (Junior and Senior Clarinets).
* Book and monitor lessons and attendance using the school's IT system.
* Bill parents directly and provide copies to the school.
Compensation
We will pay Visiting Music Teachers standard Musicians' Union rates for instrumental tuition, currently £21.25 per 30 minute lesson (£42.50 per hour).
