About The Role
Canterbury Hospital is committed to providing high quality healthcare services to our local community, focused on patient and family-centred care. Since opening in 1929 our hospital continues to grow to meet the changing needs of our community and incorporate new models of care.
To provide executive administrative support to the General Manager's Unit in an efficient, professional and timely manner. This position is responsible for the provision of secretarial, administrative, clerical support to the General Manager and the Hospital's Executive Unit. The position calls for knowledge for office systems and procedures, high standard of documentation preparation using Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to meet tight deadlines.

Ideal Candidate
* High level written communication skills with the ability to prepare briefing notes and correspondence for the GM Unit.
* Strong oral communication skills with demonstrated capacity to vary communication style to audience and need.
* Demonstrated experience in managing and providing executive and administrative support functions to the highest professional standards.
