LECNA is looking for a community-minded treasurer to join our Management Committee – meeting once a month!
Core responsibilities The Treasurer is a key member of the Management Committee and plays a critical role in the financial oversight and management of the Logan East Community Neighbourhood Association Incorporated.
This position is responsible for ensuring the organisation's financial sustainability, compliance with all relevant legislation and transparent financial reporting to the Committee, members, and external stakeholders.
The Treasurer will provide strategic financial guidance, oversee budgeting, monitor financial performance, and ensure sound financial practices are in place to support the organisation's mission and objectives.
About our community As one of the most culturally diverse cities in Australia, Logan City is home to people from over 234 different cultures. LECNA is a vibrant, volunteer-driven organisation with over 50 volunteers and 10 staff. Dedicated to supporting the Logan community, LECNA helps hundreds of clients each week.
What we are looking for Do you have demonstrated experience in financial management, accounting, or bookkeeping, ideally within a not-for-profit context and you’re ready to give back and be part of something meaningful, helping those in our community who need it most, we would love to hear from you!
