Job Title: Production Horticulture Supervisor
This is a full-time position supporting operations at our Virginia site in South Australia. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Production Horticulture Supervisor to join our team.
About the Role
* To prepare soil, tile, plant, fertilize and harvest crops.
* Coordinate and supervise general farm workers and labourers.
* Carry out and oversee planting programs.
* Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations.
* Deliver planting programs as instructed by the Operations Manager.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a diploma in a relevant field plus at least 1 year of relevant experience or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Requirements
* Diploma in a relevant field.
* At least 1 year of relevant experience or at least 3 years of relevant experience.
* Experience in horticultural operations/farm management.
* Experience in managing potato, carrot and onion crops (desirable).
* Basic mechanical knowledge and experience working with large-scale agricultural machinery.
* Unrestricted Class C Driver's Licence.
* Chemical User Certificate Accreditation.
* Forklift licence.
* HC licence.
