Full Time | $90,000 – $120,000 + Vehicle + Benefits

Lead the National Growth of an Iconic International Food Brand

Clonakilty Food Company is a proudly Irish, family-owned business with a heritage dating back to the 1880s. Our award-winning Blackpudding, Whitepudding and Sausages are category leaders across Ireland, and our Australian business is entering its next phase of national expansion.

We are seeking a commercially astute National Sales and Business Development Manager to take ownership of our Australian retail strategy and drive sustainable growth across large retail, independent stores and foodservice

This is a hands-on autonomous working role for someone who thrives in a dynamic FMCG environment and can confidently navigate range reviews, category strategy, and promotional investment. This person will be the sole driver of the Australian Business with the support from the team in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and grow key national retail accounts
* Manage range reviews, joint business planning, and promotional execution
* Develop compelling category and commercial proposals aligned with retailer strategy
* Identify and secure new ranging opportunities nationally
* Drive new business across retail, foodservice, and potential export channels
* Manage forecasting of sales, trade spend, and promotional activities
* Work closely with our Carrum Downs contract manufacturing facility to ensure supply continuity and execution excellence
* Collaborate with our global marketing team to align brand campaigns with retailer priorities
* Represent Clonakilty at industry events and trade forums

About You

* Demonstrated FMCG national account management experience
* Strong understanding of major retail processes and promotional cycles
* Proven ability to influence buyers and deliver commercially sound growth plans
* Solid experience in budgeting, forecasting, and trade spend management
* Experience working with supply partners and contract manufacturers
* Commercially disciplined, organised, and confident operating autonomously
* Passionate about building premium food brands in competitive retail environments
* Ability to work on own initiative
