Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Risk Officer to join our Maritime Sustainment delivery team based at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA. Reporting to the Risk & Issues Manager, the Project Risk Officer will provide support to the program risk and opportunity (R&O) management process.
We recognise the value of flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Program Risk Manager to deliver overall Program Risk & Opportunity objectives
* Deliver accurate and timely R&O reporting requirements
* Maintain the currency of information in the R&O toolset
* Provide R&O toolset access and training
Key responsibilities
* Support the Risk & Issues Manager in conducting risk reviews, including:
o Preparation of risk review agendas
o Recording risk review minutes and actions arising
o Ensure updates captured in risk toolset in a timely manner
o Follow up of actions arising
* Work with the Risk & Issues Manager to deliver monthly Risk & Opportunity Program reporting
* Assist with preparation of Risk & Opportunity artefacts
* Provide support to periodic Schedule Risk Analysis modelling
* Manage requests for risk software access and facilitate toolset training for new users
* Provide advice and respond to Risk & Opportunity queries from IPTs
About You
* Previous experience in a similar role or Project Management
* Capability to identify and solve problems, think critically and innovate
* Proven ability to partner with individuals / teams across a number of business areas, to shape and implement business requirements
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
* Strong Microsoft Office skills
* Current NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
