The incumbent is responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key customer accounts to achieve sales targets and build strong, long-lasting relationships.This role involves utilizing relationship management skills to grow current customer accounts, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesThis role will have the following accountabilities:Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of key customer accounts, building and nurturing long-term partnerships.Collaborate with the team to develop tailored sales strategies, plans, and targets for the assigned account portfolio, aligning with customer goals and company objectives.Drive the execution of Sales & Account Management initiatives within the responsible area, partnering with other Sales & Marketing teams and Customer Service to achieve revenue targets, ensure seamless service delivery, and high customer satisfaction.Recognize and pursue upselling potential within the accounts, working with key customers to understand their evolving needs and propose customized solutions.Lead in crafting and negotiating proposals and contracts that meet customer expectations and align with the company's capabilities.Generate and analyze sales reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and provide insights for strategic decisions.EHSQSPerform, maintain, and improve the EHSQS standards and requirements as set by the company. Participate in the EHSQS program including training and audits.About YouThe successful candidate must demonstrate the following competencies:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Food Science/Technology.Strong understanding of policies, objectives, operations, and activities within a Sales & Account Management role in Australia.Specialist understanding of the B2B sales process and broad food ingredient knowledge.Strong communication skills to persuade and influence key accounts, adapting styles to different audiences inside and outside the organization.Ability to resolve complex customer issues with original thought, research, and analytical techniques.Proven ability to influence commercial outcomes through effective decision-making.Key Personal AttributesStrong personality capable of building rapport with stakeholders.Resilience and ability to work under pressure.About UsSupported by a 160-year history of ingredient innovation, we partner with customers to provide healthier and tastier choices.
