About the Role
We are seeking an individual to undertake the role of Marketing Coordinator (full-time) in our Bendigo Office. As a Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of Lifely's corporate and creative teams, working closely with our Business Development and Operations Teams' Leaders to produce marketing collateral in-keeping with Lifely's brand guidelines.
Remuneration commencing at Level 4.1 on the SCHADS Award ($44.58 per hour), plus salary packaging to reduce the tax you pay and increase your take-home pay (as per PBI status).
Key Responsibilities
* Understanding Project Requirements: Collaborate with the team to grasp project requirements and concepts effectively.
* Design Development: Use your design skills to create drafts, models, and prototypes, producing final design solutions, including program flyers, booklets, and advertisements.
* Social Media Creativity: Develop engaging content for our social media channels using your creativity and design skills. Liaise with staff to review and schedule content.
* Maintain Event Calendar: Craft and update online event listings with brand-aligned content, covering event details and activities organised or sponsored by Lifely.
* Administrative Duties: Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling, reception duties, and filing.
Requirements and Skills
* Competence in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) and graphics editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, CorelDRAW).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to create and manage documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
* Familiarity with design techniques and visual elements such as layout, typography, fonts, and colour theory.
* Ability to implement pre-existing branding guidelines across a range of collateral.
* Competence in creating documents and publications tailored for print considering print-specific requirements and design principles.
* Image editing skills, including retouching, colour correction, and image manipulation.
* Basic video editing and animation skills for creating animated graphics, GIFs, and videos content.
* Ability or willingness to use WordPress or similar content management systems for website content management.
* Capability to handle email and telephone inquiries with professionalism while developing strong working relationships with clients, both internal and external.
* Ability to work efficiently, plan and schedule tasks and meet deadlines.
* Photography and videography skills are a bonus.
Qualifications
* Be studying or have completed a qualification in graphic or communication design or a similar field
* Practical work experience in graphic design or a similar field in lieu of a formal qualification.
