Electrical Technician
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team at a state-of-the-art facility in Liverpool. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and improving automated electrical systems and equipment within a fast-paced, high-technology environment.
About the Role
* Maintenance of electrical systems, including preventative and breakdown maintenance.
* Troubleshooting and repair of electrical faults on conveyors, motors, sensors, PLC-controlled systems and other plant machinery.
* Installation, wiring and commissioning of new equipment and system upgrades.
* Electrical safety testing and inspections in accordance with relevant standards.
* Maintenance of accurate service and maintenance documentation.
* Collaboration with mechanical and automation teams to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
Key Requirements
* Trade qualification in Electrical Fitting or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience in a manufacturing, automation or industrial maintenance environment.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control panels and fault-finding techniques.
* Experience working with PLC-based systems, VSDs and instrumentation (advantageous).
* Commitment to safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.
* Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
