Position Overview
As the lead Podiatrist, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a diverse range of cases.
You will work closely with elderly individuals to develop tailored treatment plans that promote healthy feet and general wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose patients with foot and ankle disorders through physical examination and diagnostic imaging.
Develop and implement individualised treatment plans that may include footwear recommendations, orthotic fittings, wound care, and surgical interventions.
Provide patient education on proper foot care, prevention of conditions, and maintenance of overall foot health.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
Stay current with advancements in podiatry and participate in continuous professional development.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine or Bachelor of Podiatry.
1 year experience as a Podiatrist
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of podiatric medicine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
