Role
In this 18-month fixed term contract you will take end to end ownership of a critical supplier. The role is responsible for driving commercial outcomes, managing supplier performance, and acting as the single point of accountability across the organisation. This is a newly created role for the organisation and is suited to a commercially minded professional with a strong understanding of technology, who is confident managing complex contracts and leading supplier conversations.
Key responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end contract and commercial management, including interpretation of complex contractual terms, variations, and negotiations.
* Take ownership of a high value, business critical supplier relationship.
* Conduct purposeful supplier performance meetings, driving accountability and ensuring quality and compliance.
* Identify opportunities to lift value, reduce risks and improve service through proactive analysis of data, trends and operational insights.
* Be the trusted escalation point for supplier related issues and secure positive commercial outcomes.
* Develop and maintain dashboards and executive level reporting.
Qualifications / Skills
* Proven experience in supplier relationship management, procurement, commercial management.
* A strong understanding of IT services and/or technology enabled environments with the confidence to engage credibly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Exceptional stakeholder management skills.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence.
* Strong commercial acumen with analytical skills, comfortable interpreting data, identifying insights and informing decision making.
