Oncology Clinical Trials Fellow
We are seeking a medical oncologist to provide clinical care to patients enrolled on phase I, II and III cancer clinical trials.
The successful candidate will participate in translational research, developing protocols and assisting with administration regarding collection and presentation of metrics for the Clinical Trials Unit. They will also engage in after-hours on-call service, participating in case presentations, journal article reviews and topic discussions.
Key requirements include registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications and RACP trainee or junior consultant status in relevant Medical Oncology College. A broad ranging experience in oncology medicine is also required, along with clinical experience in the management of solid organ tumours and current driver's license.
In this role, you will have opportunities to write manuscripts, contribute to projects and attend national and international conferences. You will be supported in developing your skills and expertise, with a focus on improving the provision of medical oncology services.
