About the Role
As a Home Care Employee or Personal Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering care and services to our consumers in the community. You will support them in line with their physical, spiritual, social, and cultural needs, enabling them to maintain their well-being and independence for as long as possible.
Reporting to the Care Partner, the purpose of the Home Care Employee is to provide our consumers with a range of care services in the community.
* Certificate III in Individual Support – Ageing or equivalent (preferably with Medication Competency)
* Current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and comprehensive car insurance
* First Aid Certificate
* NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Awareness of WHS requirements, particularly manual handling and infection control
* Effective communication skills, including verbal and written
* Ability to prioritise workload and demonstrate reliability
* Ability to work independently or unsupervised in the community environment and good time management
* Police Check
