Job Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Logistics Officer.
This position is responsible for the effective and efficient execution of aircraft stores procedures and providing general support services.
Main Responsibilities
* Manage the receipt, issue, storage and dispatch of aircraft parts, tools and non-aircraft items in a timely and accurate manner.
* Work on a shift roster and be available for standby duties as required.
* Maintain cost effectiveness and efficiency in all aspects of the role.
* Evaluate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Ensure the cleanliness and security of the store at all times.
* Monitor shelf life items and services in the store.
* Conduct regular stock takes as required.
* Implement measures to protect stored items and maintain store security.
* Optimize the movement and processing of parts and tooling within the stores system.
* Utilize storage space efficiently and accurately record stock locations.
* Identify and propose opportunities for cost-effective improvements to methods and procedures.
* Ensure the safety of those involved in the workplace by identifying hazards and implementing controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Knowledge of aircraft components is an advantage.
* Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft applications.
* A current driver's license is essential.
* The ability to obtain necessary licenses and certifications, including ASIC card, Air Side Driver's license, Dangerous Goods License, and Fork Lift License.
