About the Opportunity
As our HR Consultant, you will work within the People and Culture team to support the achievement of departmental objectives, particularly operations related to Client Service transformation.. In this role you will also :
Develop and maintain positive and effective business relationships with managers and staff by providing HR procedural advice consistent with organisational objectives, values and legal requirements;
Collaborate with managers to ensure recruitment process activities are completed in a timely and precise manner for both paid staff and volunteers; including support and advice to managers;
Support HR practices and processes including Performance Management and advisory services as guided by the People and Culture Business Partner.
About You
As part of the People & Culture team, you should have a relevant Human Resources qualification or equivalent relevant education. In addition, demonstrated experience in and strong foundation in human resources principles, practices, and laws is encouraged. You will also have :
Be well-versed in areas such as recruitment and selection, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, training and development, and employment law;
Microsoft Office Suite, especially high level word, and mid-level excel;
Ability to demonstrate initiative in a varied and busy HR work environment.
