Architectus is seeking a Graduate Interior Designer to join our Perth studio. With a Bachelor of Interior Design (or equivalent), you'll work within our supportive, multi-discipline Interiors team, collaborating with Senior Designers and Project Leaders across concept design, detailed design and documentation on major local projects.
What You'll Do
* Support project documentation across all stages, contributing to efficiency, accuracy and quality
* Work closely with senior designers and architects, helping to coordinate stakeholders, design teams and project deliverables
* Contribute to project work primarily across workplace, health and education sectors, with exposure to other sectors over time
* Manage competing tasks and proactively resolve day-to-day issues to support positive design and project outcomes
* Help build strong client and consultant relationships, working collaboratively and applying your developing knowledge of interior design principles, relevant codes and best practice
* Receive mentorship, guidance and hands-on experience within a highly experienced, collaborative team
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor of Interior Design (or equivalent) with 2 years' prior experience working within a multi-discipline practice preferred
* Confident communicator, able to work professionally with diverse stakeholders
* Revit experience is preferred, with a willingness and motivation to continue upskilling
* Strong written and verbal communication with clear, timely documentation skills and proficiency with Adobe InDesign
* Developing understanding of interior design principles and design intent
* Highly organised, curious and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced studio environment
