AWE is seeking experienced Drill Fitters to join our growing team. This role is suited to a high-performing technician who thrives in a fast-paced field environment, enjoys autonomy, and takes pride in delivering high-quality maintenance support across mobile mining equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Performing preventative and breakdown maintenance on drill rigs
* Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults
* Conducting rebuilds and component change-outs.
* Diagnosing, servicing, and repairing air conditioning systems on mobile plant and drill rigs

To be considered, you must have the following:
* Valid C-class driver's licence.
* Refrigerant Handling Licence (Desirable)
* Australian Recognised Trade Certificate.
* Strong diagnostics and fault-finding skills.
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
* Strong field service experience in mining environments.
* Police check dated within the last 6 months. (or willing to obtain)
* Pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol Screen.
* Experience on OEM equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Sandvik, Epiroc, etc.
