A well established team of software developers is looking for a senior software developer with management experience to join our team.
Major Responsibilities:
* Full stack development skills
* Undertake analysis, design, development, and testing.
* Solution design including defining software and technical designs.
* Operate and create highly secure systems by ensuring quality security practices and reviews are embedded within the team culture and processes
* Ensure excellent quality and maintain high standards in software development
* Manage a small team including setting local priorities, managing resources and workloads, and assisting with the development of work plans
* Ensure work aligns with processes and overall delivery outcomes
* Meet with customer to understand requirements in technical workshops
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICT policies and processes and transfer knowledge to other team members
Skills Required:
* Experience as a full stack and senior developer with high level understanding of software development practices.
* Experience with website and database schema development
* High level SQL database experience
* Work as an effective team leader and support staff to achieve high quality outcomes
* Communicate effectively with customers and staff
* Establish clear work plans and time frames for self and others
* Work independently under limited direction and act collaboratively
* Think strategically and consider the issues and impacts on work and work area
* Identify risks and steps required to mitigate them.
This will be a hands on development role with managing a small team for approximately ~10% of the time.
The office is located at St Leonards, NSW 2065, ~700m walk from the train station.
