The Role
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Equipment Trades Worker to join our team at our Malaga workshop.
You'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining domestic fridges, freezers, televisions, laptops, air conditioning and washing machines, ensuring every product meets our high refurbishment standards. You will also be responsible for delivery and installation or repair at customer premises under the company's warranty obligations.
Key Responsibilities
* Examine and test electronic equipment, instruments, and systems to diagnose faults
* Adjust, repair, and replace worn or defective parts and wiring
* Maintain, reassemble, and test-operate appliances and control systems
* Advise users on correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions
* Install and commission electronic instruments and control systems
* Apply knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles in repair and maintenance tasks
* Travel to customer premises where required to install/repair under warranty provisions
* Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate a professional command of the English language
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
* Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience obtained in the last 5 years
* Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a range of domestic appliances
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
* Full Australian work rights (sponsorship may be available for the right candidate)
