Job Description
As a Corporate Governance Specialist, you will be responsible for managing company registers, preparing and lodging ASIC forms, drafting resolutions and statutory documents, monitoring ASIC debt status, and ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards.
You will also assist in periodic compliance reviews of companies and trusts, ensuring adherence to relevant frameworks and regulations.
This role requires excellent client service skills, with the ability to provide prompt and professional support to clients.
* Manage company registers, prepare and lodge ASIC forms, draft resolutions and statutory documents, monitor ASIC debt, and ensure governance compliance.
* Coordinate and submit forms with ASIC for company detail changes accurately and timely.
* Prepare meeting packs for board and committee meetings, ensuring clarity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide prompt, professional client service and address inquiries effectively.
* Communicate with clients for KYC documentation for onboarding and reviews.
* Assist in periodic compliance reviews of companies and trusts, ensuring regulatory adherence.
* Maintain compliance with current legal and regulatory standards and internal procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Graduate qualification in commerce, business, governance, or law.
* Approximately 4 years of corporate secretarial experience with solid ASIC regulation knowledge.
* Strong communication, time management, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
* Ability to work independently managing registers, documentation, and liaising with regulators.
