Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Executive Director, Corporate Services with substantive leadership expertise to join their Executive Leadership Team. Leading the Corporate Services function in a highly regulated environment, you will provide the organisation with continuity, stability, and strong executive oversight during a transition period. Reporting to the CEO you will be responsible for People & Culture, ICT (incl. security/CISO), Finance & Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Audit & Governance. The role has four (4) direct reports including the CFO and approx. 25 indirect reports. You will have regular engagement with the Board and the Audit, Risk & Finance Committee, and be available to provide high-quality advice to the CEO, Executive, Board, and Audit, Risk and Finance Committee.
Responsibilities
* Oversight of People & Culture, ICT, Finance & Procurement, Risk, Compliance, Audit & Governance.
* Provide leadership through a transition period with executive oversight for corporate services.
* Engage with the Board and the Audit, Risk & Finance Committee; advise the CEO and Executive leadership.
* Support organisational culture, workforce planning, and people priorities at the executive level.
* Maintain momentum across corporate and enabling functions.
Qualifications & Experience
* Strong experience in the oversight of financial management, risk, compliance, audit, and procurement obligations.
* Senior executive experience with deep expertise in financial governance, risk, compliance, audit, and procurement.
* Experience in a public sector or government environment at executive level.
* Ability to operate at Board and committee levels and lead with credibility and steadiness.
* Pragmatic, calm, delivery-focused approach with a proven history of executive delivery; public sector experience preferred.
