About Us
Foodbank SA & NT is South Australia and Northern Territories largest food relief organisation. We are a not-for-profit and non-denominational community-based organisation established in SA in 2000.
Our vision is to end hunger in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Our mission is to get the most good food, to the most people, in the most efficient way possible.
Foodbank SA & NT has 13 Food Hubs and 7 warehouses and provides food relief to over 150,000 people every month. One third of these are children. In the last 12 months, we have sourced enough food to put more than 10 million meals on the table of those doing it tough in our community.
About the Role
Foodbank SA & NT is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced candidate for the new role of Management Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity to join an engaged, friendly and committed team, where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Management Accountant will administer Foodbank SA & NT's day-to-day accounting function and will be responsible for the provision of effective and proactive reporting and analytical services to support the organisation's operations. In this role you will:
* Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial statements and reports
* Undertake monthly profit and loss
* Analyse financial results and support internal stakeholders to make informed operational and strategic decisions
* Manage monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Support the CFO with budget preparation and cashflow forecasting
* Participate in the annual audit program
* Participate in new initiative and operational improvement projects.
This is a permanent, part-time opportunity (0.6 FTE with additional hours required at peak times and to cover leave). Rostered hours will be negotiated with the successful candidate.

About You
As the successful applicant, you will have a tertiary qualification in accounting or equivalent and hold or be working towards a CA or CPA qualification. You will have experience working as a qualified Accountant.
You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and an organised and systematic approach. You will have excellent communication skills and enjoy working closely within a diverse and friendly team.
