Job Title: Space Planning Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Space Planning Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences across our network.

* * Lead a team of space planners to achieve business goals and objectives
* Partner with stakeholders to deliver customer-led merchandising strategies aligned to our category strategy
* Design and implement engagement strategies to secure collaboration from key stakeholders
* Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial teams to influence customer outcomes
* Built the space strategy at both overarching and category levels focusing on merchandising excellence, optimization, ease of shop, ROS & Sales
* Utilize customer insights and data to influence key stakeholders
* Oversee adherence to critical path & planogram processes according to set timelines
* Manage and coach a team responsible for developing and delivering category strategies end-to-end through planograms
* Participate and assist in cross-functional Space & Range post-implementation reviews to drive continuous improvement
* Lead high-value initiatives and projects that include facilitating goal-level creation for the broader team
* Regularly identify risks and mitigate negative impact through risk assessment strategies
* Accountable for identifying and driving innovation that enhances capabilities, improves ways of working, and delivers great outcomes for stores, their teams, and customers
* Deliver a Space framework/capability that considers and supports all channels, Bricks and eCom
* Play a key leadership role in Commercial Enablement, supporting the broader transformation journey
* Driving continuous improvement and evolution of space capabilities and processes in line with Big W's strategic objectives
* The role includes teaching, change management, developing and sharing best practices, sustaining tools and processes, and measuring results of both Space Management and cross-functional teams as appropriate
About You:
* Extensive experience leading a team
* Extensive experience in retail/FMCG sector
* Extensive experience in Planogram business function & BY capabilities
* Proven ability to deliver major transformation initiatives
* Strong analytical skills & excel skills
