Paediatric Medical Education Registrar Position
The Women's and Children's Hospital is a leading provider of medical training, offering a unique opportunity for an Advanced Trainee in Paediatric Medicine to join our team as a Paediatric Medical Education Registrar.
This role involves delivering high-quality medical and mental health simulations, adopting a therapeutic approach and adjusting simulation activities to meet the needs of individual students. Collaboration with faculty staff is essential in planning simulations covering areas of paediatric social and emotional health. The successful candidate will identify specific learning objectives, develop character backstories, and work with artistic directors to recruit and train actors.
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery - or equivalent.
* Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
* Advanced trainee status with the Royal Australian College of Physicians.
* Clinical experience and competence in the practice of paediatric medicine.
* Effective communication skills to interact with team members and medical students.
* Willingness to incorporate suggestions/feedback/complaints into personal improvement.
