JCU Early Learning Centres is situated at James Cook University and is a not for profit community based centre. JCU Early Learning Centres has free flow play based programs in natural surroundings with bush and wildlife. The operational hours of the service is from 7.30am-6pm, and the centres close over the Christmas break for 2 weeks.
Qualifications & ExperienceCertificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood EducationAn understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality StandardHold a current Blue Card and First AidTasks & ResponsibilitiesLead Educator: Guide and mentor a team of educators, develop and implement play-based programs, ensure children's safety and development in alignment with educational standards.Above-award pay rates.
Additional staff during peak times to ensure manageable workloads.
