We are seeking a skilled Medical Support Professional to join our pharmacy team.
* To support the Clinical Pharmacist in ensuring safe, effective, and efficient systems for repeat prescribing, medicines optimisation, reducing medicines waste, and maximising patient outcomes.
* The role will also involve training and development of practice-based support staff to enhance co-ordination and effective administration within the practice, especially with relation to repeat prescribing systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* To undertake medicines reconciliation in accordance with practice protocols and update patients medical records/prescribing accordingly.
* To contribute to achieving the practice's Quality and Outcomes Framework targets.
* Working with the Clinical Pharmacist and support staff to review and develop repeat prescribing protocols and Standard Operating Procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of repeat prescribing systems.
