**Power Up Your Career in the Kimberley*Our client is seeking a self-motivated, hands-on Generation Technician to operate and maintain power generation assets across Kununurra and nearby communities.This is a newly created role, offering you the chance to make an impact from day one. ***About the Role**As a Generation Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining generation assets in line with corporate and divisional frameworks to deliver safe, reliable, and high-quality power supply.
This is a residential, permanent full-time position – not FIFO.

* Keep the power flowing: Operate and maintain generation assets to the highest safety and performance standards.
* Drive results: Deliver work packages and provide technical support for generation activities.
* Optimise performance: Ensure asset performance aligns with corporate objectives.
* Shape the future: Contribute to Generation Asset Management Plans.
* Take control: Perform switching, isolations, and permitting as required.
*****What You'll Bring*****
* Relevant Australian Electrical or Mechanical Trade Qualification.
* WA Electrical Workers Licence.
* Significant experience maintaining and operating reciprocating diesel power stations.
* Strong knowledge of generation systems and unwavering commitment to safety.
* Experience in maintenance planning, scheduling, and managing work order flows in a Utility/Generation environment.
